Eskom and Sasol Have Signed A Gas-For-Power MoU Document

Eskom and energy and chemical enterprise, Sasol, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to "collaboratively explore and research prospective long term liquified natural gas (LNG) requirements".

This can be based on a joint statement by the two businesses, following the signing ceremony of the MoU on Friday.

"The collaboration aims to determine the prospective volumes that South Africa involves to ascertain a feasible LNG import current market, together with the enabling infrastructure, and can be facilitated by govt-to-federal government relations exactly where essential."
